Sharing knowledge is part of my craft.
Teaching is more than instruction – it’s about unlocking confidence and clarity. As a freelance animation instructor, I’ve taught at institutions like PIXL VISN and School of Games, helping students understand not just how animation works, but why it matters.
With real-world insights from the VFX industry, I focus on animation principles, feedback culture, production awareness, and career preparation. I aim to make the complex understandable, and the creative process exciting – because tomorrow’s talent deserves honest, grounded guidance.
Since 2022, I’ve been teaching animation at PIXL VISN media arts academy, where I guide multiple classes each year through the complexities of performance, creature behavior, and professional workflows.
I regularly teach Animation 300 and Animation 400 – both advanced courses for students in their final semester. Each course runs four times per year, with 20–30 students per group. I also lead workshops on Advanced Animation, focusing on quadrupeds, flying creatures, and dragons, based on my production experience from projects like House of the Dragon and The Mandalorian.
Since I started, I’ve taught around 250–300 students, helping them bridge the gap between school and studio. My teaching style is grounded in real-world VFX experience – clear, constructive, and tailored to the needs of emerging professionals.
